This beautiful piece has been hand made from a recycled steel drum and turned into a stunning Trinity Knot wall decoration.
The Trinity Knot, also known as the Triquetra, is a three-pointed knot or symbol without a clear beginning or end. The term "Triquetra" is derived from the Latin words "tri" (three) and "quetra" (cornered).
Starting with a 55 gallon steel drum, the metal is cleaned, sanded and pounded flat and the design is cut out by hand using a hammer and chisel.
Measuring an impressive 17 inch diameter this piece is finished with a clear coat varnish to insure that it will look fantastic either indoors or outdoors. For outdoor use it is recommended to spray the sculpture yearly with a clear rust protector to maintain the original look.
Color varies from dark silver to brown rustic tones depending on the steel drum used.
